How long does treatment last?
Each patient has unique needs and our treatment plans are individualized for each patient. Each patient’s treatment goals and needs will determine the appropriate length of stay for each patient. The patient’s physician and treatment team will help in identifying treatment goals. Most patients average stay with us for 10 to 14 days.
What is the different between inpatient and outpatient treatment options?
Inpatient hospitalization is for short-term (10 to 14 days on average) crisis stabilization. With inpatient hospitalization, the patient receives a 24-hour intensive treatment program provided in a safe and secure hospital setting. It includes 24-hour nursing care and daily provider visits that are not available on an outpatient basis.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is a therapeutic, recovery-focused, group program held in a safe environment, providing therapy, medication management, and ongoing symptom management tools. Outpatient is typically held for a few hours a day, five days per week.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is a therapeutic, recovery-focused, group program held in a safe environment, providing therapy and ongoing symptom management tools. Outpatient is typically held for a few hours a day, three days per week.
What are the visiting hours?
Visitation takes place Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week. The time of visitation varies based on the patient’s unit. Special accommodations can be made with the patient’s therapist for additional visitation hours.
